Iranian Holiday Package: Persian Dream

An 11 day tour to visit Tehran-Yazd-Shiraz-Isfahan.

ITINERARY

Day 1, LONDON
Flight to Tehran with BMI from Heathrow terminal 1 at 18:45

Day 2, TEHRAN
Arrival in Tehran, you are met at the airport and transfer to the hotel. After a short rest at the hotel, we spend all day visiting the capital’s Archaeological, Crown Jewels the treasury of Iranian national royal Jewels and Carpet Museums. Overnight in Tehran.

Day 3, TEHRAN/YAZD
Flight to Yazd. We visit the Towers of Silence (according the Zoroastrians beliefs, a dead body could not be burnt or buried. Dead body were carried to those towers and eaten by birds), the Friday Mosque, the 12th century mosque crowned with two minrates, the highest in Iran is still in use today and the Zoroastrian Fire Temple where for past 3000 years a fire burns in a brazen vessel. Day 4, YAZD/SHIRAZ
Drive to Shiraz, 409km 5-6 hours. Overnight Shiraz

Day 5, SHIRAZ
Excursion, this time to Persepolis, was the capital of the Achaemenid Empire. Naghesh-e-Rajab and Naghesh-e-Rostam. UNESCO world heritage. Back to Shiraz. Overnight Shiraz

Day 6, SHIRAZ
Sightseeing in Shiraz, visiting the Eram Garden, (Garden of Paradise) a large garden with a wonderful looking palace Hafez 14th Century Persian Mystic poet and Saadi Tombs, famous Persian poet of meidival period and the colourful Bazaar. Overnight Shiraz

Day 7, SHIRAZ/ISFAHAN
Drive to Isfahan (484km 6-7hours), en-route visiting Pasaragde a city in ancient Persia and is today an archaeological site and UNESCO World Heritage site to visit the tomb of Cyrus the Great, founder of Persian Empire Overnight Isfahan.

Day 8, ISFAHAN
Full day sightseeing, visiting Imam , Sheikh, and Lotfollah Mosques, the Aliqapou Palace, Vanak Church, the Shaking Minarets, and the Fire Temple. Overnight in Isfahan.

Day 9, ISFAHAN
Sightseeing in this fascinating city continues with the Friday Mosque, Chehel Sotoun, Hasht Behesht Palace and Khajou Bridge Overnight in Isfahan.

Day 10, ISFAHAN/TEHRAN
Drive to Tehran, (435km 6-7 hours) en-route visiting the pilgrim city of Qom. Overnight in Tehran.

Day 11, TEHRAN
Transfer to Imam Khomini airport for the flight to London with BMI 932 at 10:00 arrive at Terminal 1 Heathrow at 13:00
