Gardens have been a fundamental part of culture in Persian life for more than 2500 years and can been illustrated in various fields of Persian art: in miniatures painting, ceramics, carpets and poetry. The golden age of Persian Gardens comes from 16th century Safavid dynasty. However the original of Persian Gardens is from earlier time. It is the Pasargadae, the palace of Cyrus the great, the founder of Persian Empire which has evidence of creation of the earliest Gardens and the foundation of all future Persian gardens.

ITENARY

 Day 1, Tehran

Upon arrival in Tehran you are met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. After a short rest at the hotel, we spend all day visiting the capital’s Archaeological,  Golestan Palace and its gardens, Carpet museum. Overnight in Tehran.

 Day 2, Tehran

Today sightseeing starts with visiting  National Botanical Garden of Iran in Tehran which holds native plants as well as worldwide plants. We visit two historical gardens in Tehran Negarestan gardens, Masoudieh gardens , then visit   Royal Crown Jewels museum. Overnight in Tehran.

Day 3, Kashan

We drive to Kashan, upon arrival in the Oasis town of Kashan we visit the Royal Gardens of Fin, Agha Bozorg Mosque, Sialk Mounds and Kashan Pardis Garden. Overnight Kashan

 Day 4, Yazd

Our day consists of a leisurely drive to Yazd, where we visit the ancient villages of Abyaneh Natanz, Ardestan and Na’in. Stay overnight in Yazd.

Day 5, Yazd

We visit the Dowlat Abad Garden‌, Moshir o Molk garden, Towers of Silence, the Friday Mosque, and the Fire Temple. Overnight Yazd

Day 6, Shiraz

Drive to Shiraz stop in Abarkuh to visit its ancient living cypress tree. Overnight Shiraz

Day 7, Shiraz

While driving towards Shiraz we stop at Pasargadae, the place  where Cyrus the great build a magnificent palace and is today an archaeological site and UNESCO World Heritage site to visit the tomb of Cyrus the Great, founder of Persian Empire. Here you can see the remains of the oldest paradise garden, irrigation canals. The site is under further excavation. Overnight Shiraz

Day 8, Shiraz

A full day of sightseeing in Shiraz and its beautiful gardens,  visiting the Eram Garden, Delgosha Garden, Sattarkhan Gardens, Afif-Abad Garden, Jahan Nama Garden, Negarestan Qavam House, Hafez and Saadi Tombs, and the colourful Bazaar. Stay overnight in Shiraz.

 Day 9, Persepolis

Today visit is to Persepolis, Naghesh-e-Rajab and Naghesh-e-Rostam. Overnight in Shiraz

Day 10, Shiraz/Isfahan

Drive to Isfahan. Overnight Isfahan

 Day 11, Isfahan

Sightseeing in Isfahan to visit the Friday Mosque, Chehel Sotoun palace and its gardens,  Hasht Behesht Palace and its gardens, Khajou Bridge.

Day 12, Isfahan

Visit Botanical gardens,  Imam Masque and Square, Sheikh Lotfolah Masque, music museum.

Overnight Isfahan

Day 13, Isfahan/Tehran

Drive to Tehran. Overnight Tehran

Day 14, Tehran

Transfer to the airport for your flight to back
