ITINERARY
Day 1, SHIRAZ
Arrive in Shiraz, are met at the airport and transfer to the hotel. After a short rest at the hotel Sightseeing in Shiraz, visiting the Eram Garden, (Garden of Paradise) a large garden with a wonderful looking palace Hafez 14th Century Persian Mystic poet and Saadi Tombs, famous Persian poet of medieval period and the colourful Bazaar. Overnight Shiraz
Day 2, PERSEPOLIS
Excursion to Persepolis, was the capital of the Achaemenid Empire. Naghesh-e-Rajab and Naghesh-e-Rostam. UNESCO world heritage. Back to Shiraz. Overnight Shiraz
Day 3, SHIRAZ/YAZD
Drive to Yazd, (441km 5-6 hours), en-route visiting Pasaragde a city in ancient Persia and is
today an archaeological site and UNESCO World Heritage site to visit the tomb of Cyrus the Great, founder of Persian Empire Overnight Yazd
Day 4, YAZD
We visit the Towers of Silence (according the Zoroastrians beliefs, a dead
body could not be burnt or buried. Dead body were carried to those towers and eaten by
birds), the Friday Mosque, the 12th century mosque crowned with two minarets, the highest
in Iran is still in use today and the Zoroastrian Fire Temple where for past 3000 years a fire
burns in a brazen vessel. Overnight Yazd
Day 5, YAZD -ISFAHAN
Drive to Isfahan (322km 4-5 hours), Overnight Isfahan.
Day 6, ISFAHAN
Full day sightseeing, visiting Imam , Sheikh, and Lotfollah Mosques, the Aliqapou Palace, Vanak Church, the Shaking Minarets, and the Fire Temple. Overnight in Isfahan.
Day 7, ISFAHAN
Sightseeing in this fascinating city continues with the Friday Mosque, Chehel Sotoun, Hasht Behesht Palace and Khajou Bridge Overnight in Isfahan.
Day 8, ISFAHAN/KASHAN/TEHRAN
Visit UNESCO world heritage site of ancient village of Abyaneh then, drive to Kashan (218km 2-3 hours) located on the rim of the central Salt Desert, it dates back to prehistoric times. It is the city of carpets, velvets, glazed tiles, pottery and rosewater to visit the Royal Gardens of Fin, with its abundant water-supply, garden, pool with numerous spouts, and an old historical bathing-house, Agha Bozorg Mosque and then Sialk Mounds a settlement belong to approximately 4,500 BC. Continue to Tehran (244km 2-3 hours)
Overnight Tehran
Day 09, TEHRAN
We spend all day visiting the capital Archaeological, Goelstan palace, Crown Jewels the treasury of Iranian national royal Jewels and Carpet Museums. Overnight Tehran
Day 10, TEHRAN
Transfer to Imam Khomini airport for the flight back
